Bought N.T. Wright's new biography of Paul the apostle for iPad yesterday. Have just begun, but looking forward to a very interesting read. It is good to become as familiar as possible with where Paul was coming from, who he was talking to, what he was talking about in the temporal and ideological context of the epistles. So much nowadays is taken out of context with no appreciation of the realities through which and to which Paul was speaking at the time, often enough resulting in misinterpretation.
